About ScopeGuard
ScopeGuard is a software tool intended to help contractors compare project activity against an approved scope and prepare draft change-order documentation. ScopeGuard does not automatically approve, price, or send legally binding change orders — all alerts and drafts require review and approval by the contractor before any action is taken with a customer.
No legal advice
ScopeGuard is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website or in the product should be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney regarding contracts, change orders, or construction law in your jurisdiction.
No guaranteed outcomes
ScopeGuard is designed to help identify possible scope changes based on the information provided to it. It does not guarantee that every scope change will be detected, that estimates of additional labor or materials will be accurate, or that using ScopeGuard will prevent disputes or lost revenue.
Acceptable use
You agree to use ScopeGuard only for lawful purposes and in accordance with any agreement entered into separately with ScopeGuard. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you upload and for reviewing and approving any change order before it is sent to a customer.
